What a Party!

Wow!

That's the best reaction to our Grand Reopening Celebration held on Saturday, August 29, 2009.  We had over 400 people come by to see us, check out the store, and meet our friends from Roland, Boss, Gibson, Epiphone, Seagull, Arte & Lutherie, Godin, DigiTech, Gator Cases and Zildjian.  We went through almost 200 hot dogs, over 300 soft drinks, and two cases of water.  There were some hungry and thirsty people there!

We handed out 200 free Avalon Music t-shirts during the day.  We had winners for three guitars donated by our friends at Chesbro Music.  Plus, we spent the whole day handing out free shirts, hats and other very cool stuff from Epiphone, Martin, Line 6, Zildjian, Seagull, Godin, Ernie Ball, D'Addario, DigiTech and Sonor

Afternoon music was provided by Salmon Dave playing some classic rock "unplugged," followed by singer-songwriter Andrew Thompson accompanied by John Kelly on percussion.

We topped of the day right before closing with the grand give-away - a Fender Standard Stratocaster and Fender gig bag!

We cannot tell you how much we truly appreciate the support you - our customers and the North Central Washington community - have shown us hear at Avalon Music, so we hope we were able to show you on Saturday!  Check out all our photos at our Facebook site.
